Well friends, here we are - flu and cold season is upon us. It's the annual catching of this and that (not to mention COVID-19). So I want to share…
Hormones - they're chemicals our endocrine glands produce which tell our organs and tissues what to do. They regulate our metabolism, sex drive, reproduction process, growth & development, mood, and sleeping patterns. They have such tremendous roles in our bodies that if we have too much or too little of a certain hormone, something is bound to go wonky, sort of like a recipe gone wrong. Why do we always think that in order to workout we have to go to the gym? Considering how much time it takes to get ready, drive there, spend an hour exercising, coming home, taking a shower and getting ready for our day can be a struggle. Then we need to figure out the best time to do that and other considerations like childcare, appointments and money.
